Miasma Chronicles is a premium action game for PC by developer The Bearded Ladies. In this tactical RPG title, players will be thrust into a post-apocalyptic world that was torn apart by an unknown force. In the center of it all, a young man sets out on a journey to find out the truth.

From the creators who brought Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden comes Miasma Chronicles, utilizing familiar sci-fi themes and strategic gameplay, paired with open-world exploration. You’ll embark on an adventure in order to discover the truth behind the destructive force called Miasma.

The force known as Miasma

In Miasma Chronicles, you are Elvis, a young man who grew up in the mining town of Sedentary. You are in the care of your older robot brother and were left a mysterious glove by your mother that lets you control the Miasma. Thus, begins a journey to uncover the truth behind what happened to the world and what this dark substance really is.

This third-person action-adventure will have you explore a post-apocalyptic America in real-time across multiple unique and rich environments and let you meet all kinds of intriguing characters along the way. That is complemented by tactical turn-based combat that has you devise strategies with your brother to deal with a variety of enemy encounters and boss battles. The story gets pretty immersive. 

To help you on your perilous journey, equip various upgradable weapons you'll find along the way, and take advantage of the unique abilities that other brothers possess in order to help you in your quest to uncover the truth. On your journey you’ll encounter a mysterious voice who shares how the Miasma has destroyed the country and turned it into a barren wasteland.
